About Dr Sodha

Dr Kiran Sodha's 15-year medical career spans hospital medicine, general practice, lifestyle medicine, and digital health innovation. His mission is to empower individuals to prevent and overcome illness, build resilience and maximise their health.

Building on his professional expertise and personal health journey, Dr Sodha has developed public and private coaching programs for chronic disease remission.

 

These approaches integrate lifestyle medicine, psychology, health-tech and evidence-based medicine to over metabolic and mental health conditions.

 

Supported by Innovate UK, he founded Mahi Health, a multidisciplinary health coaching service. His approach integrates lifestyle medicine, psychology, and health technologies to overcome metabolic illness.

As Chair of the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine’s Diabetes Special Interest Group, board advisor to Nutritank, and an international speaker on metabolic and mental health, Dr Sodha is committed to advancing education, collaboration, and innovation in these fields.

Dr Sodha’s career includes founding digital health services early in the UK digital health space (2016-2019). He has designed lifestyle medicine programs for postgraduate students which has improved health, retention, and job opportunities.

 

He graduated from Newcastle University (2010), qualified as a GP in London (2015), and earned a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Warwick (2023).

 

He holds diplomas in Child Health, Clinical Education, and Lifestyle Medicine and Health Coaching.

 

Dividing his time and clinical work between the UK and Australia, he brings a global perspective on the practical application of holistic health services.
